WHAT IS YOUR USUAL HABIT?



Paul and Silas traveled on through Amphipolis and Apollonia and came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue. According to his USUAL HABIT, Paul went to the synagogue.......... Acts 17:1-2

When you take vacation or you are just visiting a friend or family member for the weekend, what is the first thing you are hoping they have at that place you are visiting?. Now I'm not talking to unbelievers but believing, spirit filled Christians, so to say. It's amazing how much we claim to love God but we position Him in a place like an immovable god. You see people going on vacation and what they care to know about that place is the shopping mall, the club house, yes I say the club house, and yes so called children of God. They will leave the christian life behind at home, and so is their God. Paul's usual habit is to look for a place where to worship his God even while away from home. Being away from home does not and should not mean being away from God. You are visiting people and they can not even smell the aroma of Jesus on you, no sign of the christian life you claim to have. Some people are fire brand before relocating to a foreign country and as soon as they get there, their great change has quenched the fire of God in them because if you can not beat them you join them. And you are wondering how and why things are the way they are with you as a christian. Why don't you change your ways and let all that you adore be in Him and Him alone. Jesus is coming soon, where will he meet you. THINK ABOUT IT.

HOLD STEADFAST TO YOUR DREAM

Now Joseph was the governor of the land, the person who sold grain to his people. So when Joseph's brothers arrived, they bowed down to him with their faces to the ground.... Gen. 42:6 Although Joseph recognized his brothers, they did not recognize him. Then he remembered his dreams about them.... Gen 42:8-9. When Joseph had the dream that his brother's sheaves of grain bowed down to his sheaf, h e had no idea what the plans of God were. God revealed to him what was going to take place in the nearest future, which already happened in the spirit realm. Neither Joseph or his brother knew that God had elevated Joseph and placed him in a high position. The famine in their land was part of the plan of God to bring Joseph's dream to fulfillment. WHO IS GOD TO YOU....a charity man or your ALL IN ALL

Exd. 20:1-3 Many are very faithful in their services unto God when they really needed Him to re write the script of their lives, when they needed Him to take them from prison to palace, from grass to grace, from pov erty to prosperity, from lack to green pasture and from being jobless to becoming a ceo. But as soon as their prayer is answered, they quickly become too comfortable to serve their deliverer. They make for themselves other gods in place of the Lord of lords, the merciful and faithful God.
